Sometimes I just don't realize how fast times goes by. Please accept my apologies for my absence. Who knew that life would become so busy during this holiday season.
I would like to say that I having been baking wonderful marvelous things but it wouldn't be true. If City Slicker and Mr. Teacher had not taken the time to at least put up a small tree well it just would not have happened. I did manage to fix us a lovely Thanksgiving and Christmas meal. No frills, just good food that we all loved.
The sad part about all of this is that I didn't do one beautiful tablescape. No special napkins, I didn't even get out the Christmas China. Pretty dull right?
Maybe things will look up in the New Year, no elaborate plans for that either.
My New Year's thought for all of you is that hopefully your life will be nice and even and that you have times for all those things you hold dear and love. Take time for your family and friends, or friends who are family!
And in case that doesn't work out, we are still have PINTEREST!
